Slide the new device firmly into the media bay.
You should hear a click when the device is fully seated.

Using the Diskette Drive as an External
Device
If the external media bay in your computer is already occupied by another device, you
can use the diskette drive as an external device.
NOTICE: Use the diskette drive cable with the diskette drive only.
Use the diskette drive cable to connect the diskette drive to the parallel connector on
the back of the computer (see Figure 2-3).
