Configuring Advanced Settings
LAN configuration
You can use the LAN configuration to define an
dsl and configure the DHCP server.

Select Advanced Settings – Local Network.
Defining the private IP address for the Gigaset SX762 WLAN dsl
On this screen you can change the device's
192.168.254.254. This is the
the address under which the device can be reached in the local network. It can be freely
assigned from the block of available addresses. The IP address under which the Gigaset
SX762 WLAN dsl can be reached from outside is assigned by the Internet service pro-
vider. The default
Subnet mask
WLAN dsl is 255.255.255.0.

If you want to assign a different IP address to the Gigaset SX762 WLAN dsl, enter
your chosen IP address in the boxes next to IP address.
Please make sure to note which subnet mask is set when assigning the IP address. If
you are retaining the default subnet mask, the first three parts of the IP address must
be identical for all network components (including routers).
