The feature switch No. 57 must be set to ON.

When an incoming call is received, lift the handset of the extension phone.

Talk.

Enter ~] and then ~~.~ on the extension phone to activate a fax reception.

Replace the handset.
If you answer a voice call on an extension phone while the SFX-32 is issuing the second set of rings in the
auto reception mode, you can turn off the ringing by entering and then ~ from the extension phone. Then
the SFX-32 will not switch to fax receiving mode.
Notes
Remote reception cannot be used from a parallel-connectect, pulse-diallng extension phone.
Remote reception does not work when the reception mode is set to ANSWER, use AUTO or MANUAL.
Remote reception may not function properly on certain telephones.
