Physical Drive ID
Indicates the port number (Port 1 to Port 8) of the connected HDD.
Model Number
Indicates the vendor model name of HDD.
Serial Number
Indicates the vendor serial number.
Firmware Version
Indicates the firmware version.
DMA Mode
Indicates DMA mode.
Capacity
Indicates the capacity of HDD.
Extent Status
Indicates the status and size assigned to logical drive.
Indication
1-Free/xxxGB
1-Spare/xxxGB
1-Assigned to LD X-M/xxxGB
1-Assigned to LD X-M/xxxGB
2-Assigned to LD Y-N/yyyGB
Description
Indicates that this HDD is not assigned to logical drive.
The capacity shown here is smaller than that shown in [Physical Drive
Management] screen because the space required for management
area is excluded.
Indicates that this HDD is assigned to hot spare disk. "xxxGB"
indicates the capacity assigned.
X indicates the logical drive number (explained later). The HDD is
assigned as M-th HDD in logical drive X. "xxxGB" is the assigned
capacity.
This indication is displayed when HDD is divided into two blocks by
splitting feature.
X and Y are logical drive numbers (explained later).
The either block of HDD is assigned as M-th HDD in logical drive X,
and the other block as N-th HDD in logical drive Y.
xxxGB and yyyGB indicate assigned capacities.
