Explanation
Drive control unit
The RDCU consists of a control board (RMIO) enclosed inside a
plastic casing for an easy snap-on installation. There are two
RDCUs in a large single drive: one for the supply unit (supply unit
control board) and the other for the inverter unit (inverter unit control
board).
Converts alternating current (AC) and voltage into direct current
(DC) and voltage
Motor control and I/O board
The RMIO board is a versatile control board and an I/O interface. Its
use is determined by the control program loaded into the board. The
RMIO board is widely used in the ACS800 product series. It is used
for controlling drive modules, inverter units, supply units, cooling
units, brake units, etc. See also RDCU.
Drive for the control of one motor
Rectifier and related auxiliary devices enclosed inside a metal frame
or enclosure
The supply module is one of the major building blocks of a cabinet-
installed drive.
