4. Install the optical drive retainer onto the left side of the new optical drive.

5. Slide the new optical drive into the drive bay from the front of the computer until the optical drive
snaps into position.

6. Connect the cables to the rear of the new optical drive.

7. If you are installing a new optical drive, remove the plastic panel in the front bezel for the desired
drive bay.
