Use undo default cost to restore the default.
By default, the default metric of redistributed routes is 0.
When you use the import-route command to redistribute routes from other protocols without
specifying a metric, the metric specified by the default cost command applies.
Related command: import-route.
Examples
# Configure the default metric for redistributed routes as 3.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] rip 100
[Sysname-rip-100] default cost 3

Syntax
default-route { only | originate } [ cost cost ]

Parameters
only: Advertises only a default route.
originate: Advertises both a default route and other routes.
cost: Cost of the default route, in the range of 1 to 15. The default is 1.
Description
Use default-route to configure all the interfaces under the RIP process to advertise a default route
with the specified metric to RIP neighbors.
Use undo default-route to disable all the interfaces under the RIP process from sending a default
route.
By default, no default route is sent to RIP neighbors.
The RIP router with this feature configured will not receive any default routes from RIP neighbors.

Examples
# Configure all the interfaces under RIP process 100 to send only a default route with a metric of 2 to
RIP neighbors.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] rip 100
[Sysname-rip-100] default-route only cost 2
