4.4.9 Comms Analog Input

Select the comms analog input to hold the data from the
nominated slave device.
Enter the RTU address assigned to the remote unit (1 to 247).
Note. Displayed only if 'RTU Address'
Enter the register number to be read in the slave device.
Note. Displayed only if 'RTU Address'
Select the register type, 'Holding Register' or 'Input Register'.
Note. Displayed only if 'RTU Address'
Select the format of the data to be read from the slave device:
Sint16
– signed, 16 bit integer
Sint32
– signed, 32 bit integer, transmitted in high/low
order
rev. Sint32
– signed, 32 bit integer, transmitted in low/high
order
IEEE
– 32 bit floating point number, transmitted in
high/low order
Rev. IEEE
– 32 bit floating point number, transmitted in
low/high order
Sint16 X 10 – signed, 16 bit integer, multiplied by a factor of
10
Sint16 X 100 – signed, 16 bit integer, multiplied by a factor of
100
Sint16 X 1000– signed, 16 bit integer, multiplied by a factor of
1000
