Table 2-2 Answer keys
Calls that are made by dialing your station number
(not 0), ring at a CAP rather than the <ANS> key. To
answer these calls, press the flashing CAP. At least
two CAPs must be available before you can answer a
call so that one CAP can be used to answer a call,
and another can be used to place a call.
Calls that only ring at CAPs include:
Automatic
callback
Outgoing trunk
queuing
Calls to your
directory
number
Priority calls to
the attendant
CAPs
Call type
Fast ringing pattern
Fast ringing pattern
Three- or four-digit
station number assigned
to the attendant console
Ring at the
highest-numbered CAP
available.
