Removing the cylinder head

1. Remove the spark plugs.
2. Remove the thermostat cover 1, spring
2, PCV 3, thermostat 4, gasket 5 and
grommet 6.

3. Remove the cylinder head cover bolts in
the sequence shown.
4. Remove the cylinder head cover 7 and
gasket 8.

NOTE:
Insert a flat-head screw driver between the
pry tabs to pry off the cylinder head cover.
5. Remove the thermoswitch 9.
6. Remove the cylinder head bolts in the
sequence shown.
