5. Reconnect the internal battery cables (if present).
6. Connect the input wires of the UPS and then set the battery breaker
to the position ON. The UPS will start charging the batteries
UP TO TWO STANDARD EXTERNAL BATTERY CABINETS CAN BE
CONNECTED TO THE UPS

4.4 Backfeed Protection

To support protection against UPS back feed currents, an additional external isolation device must be
installed in the bypass path according to the figure below.
Remove the protecting cover of the back feed terminals on the back of the UPS and install a contactor.
Install the back feed control wire according to relevant wiring rules.
