10 Data fields
10.2.3 PLC machine data bits
"0" signal: With regard to the tool identifications, only identification bits 0 to 7 are assigned to
the low-order byte of identification DB 152. The loading of user data is not
supported by the software. Identification bits 8 to 15 of the high-order byte of
DB 152 can additionally be modified via R21 in the extended R parameter format
(see documentation on FB 155).
Bit 4
Selection "Loading with operator guidance via tape"
"1" signal: For loading with operator guidance via tape, the data are first entered into the
loading line of the magazine table (data word 2 in the operating example). Any
specifications of magazine and locator No. are ignored. An empty location is
searched for the tool which is to be loaded, and provided for the user program at
the interface for loading with operator guidance (DB 146, DWs 1 to 5). After
positioning of the determined empty location on the loading point, the operator can
load the tool to be loaded in the loading point. By means of a positive
acknowledgement in the loading display, the tool data are transferred from the
loading line to the loading point.
"0" signal: The tool data are entered in the magazine location specified in the block.
"Reloading" is activated if magazine location = 0. Reloading into the tool buffer
(magazine number = 0) is rejected with an error message.
Bit 3
Reserve tool for application
"1" signal: Tools (active or replacement tools) which are found in the background magazine
are reserved for one of the following applications (DB 151, bit 14). During a further
search for a tool with the same identification number, the tool reserved previously
can no longer be found (cf. description of FB 128, TRANSFER).
"0" signal: The bit in DB 151 is not set.
Bit 2
D No. R parameter via user command (only turret)
"1" signal: The D numbers of the tool found are not immediately provided via "Tool found"
but only via user command bit 5 (cf. "Magazine not equal to turret").
"0" signal: The D numbers are provided immediately after the tool search.
Bit 1
Provide D numbers for magazine = turret
"1" signal: For magazines which are turrets, the D numbers are transferred to the R
parameters R 101 to R 109 of the current NC channel immediately after the tool
search of the basic functions. The machine data bit is inactive for magazines
which are not a turret.
Restriction: The tool must inserted be in the assigned magazine. If the tool is
found in one of the chained magazines or in the tool buffer, the D number can be
provided via FB 135 (Provide D numbers) by the machine program.
"0" signal: No D numbers are provided in the R parameters R 101 to R 109 for magazines
equal to turret via the base function. The D numbers must be provided by the
machine program via FB 135.
