(1)
The search direction "Symmetrical" is only permissible for linear magazines (chain
magazines; MD bit 11 = 1). For non-linear magazines, search direction = forwards is
defined internally.
(2)
If "MAGA" is set > 0 and "MAGE" = 0, all chained magazines are searched, starting
from "MAGA". The search is not completed until
– a tool has been found,
– the searched magazine is not assigned to any further, chained magazine,
– the chained magazine corresponds to the magazine specified in the parameter
"MAGA".
(3)
With the parameter settings "PLAA" >< 0 and "PLAE" = 0, a search key can be
searched for from a known location (PLAA) to the end of the magazine. If the search
includes several chained magazines, the search area is extended from the first chained
magazine onwards to cover the entire magazine.
(4)
The parameter setting "MAGE" = 255 enables the consecutive output of all the tools of
all chained magazines - starting at "MAGA" - that match the search key via the output
parameters "MANR" and "PLNR". In this case, the signal "SUVL" remains set even if a
tool has been found ("GEF" = 1). The signal "SUVL" is reset only after all magazines
have been searched.
