The layout of the localization structure is dependent on whether or not configuration data
are already held in the memory of the CC/CI11 control unit. If no data are stored, the con-
trol unit generates a localization node for the CC/CI11 station and every existing function
unit. As soon as data are present in the memory, the control unit only generates localiza-
tion nodes for the devices. These are then linked with the existing physical nodes from
station and function units.
After initial switch-on, there are, as yet, no configuration data in the control unit memory.
On start-up, the control unit automatically generates Localization nodes for the CC/CI11
station and for each existing function unit.
After localization has been activated, a localization node is generated for each localized
device. These nodes are linked to the Localization nodes for the corresponding function
unit.
Following the downloading of configuration data, physical nodes for the station and for
the function units are available in the control unit memory. Therefore if there is agreement
between the physical structure and reality no localization nodes are generated.
After localization has been activated, a Localization node is generated for each localized
device. These nodes are linked to the "real" physical nodes of the corresponding function
units.
If, after downloading configuration data, an additional line card is inserted, upon startup,
the control unit automatically generates a localization node for it. This is linked with the
physical node of the station.
After localization has been activated, a Localization node is generated for each localized
device. These nodes are linked to the localization nodes of the corresponding function
units.
