Status Description, cause
Off The electronics power supply is missing or outside the
permissible tolerance range.
Continuous The component is ready for operation. Cyclic DRIVE-
light CLiQ communication is taking place.
Continuous DRIVE-CLiQ communication is being established.

Continuous This component has at least one fault.

Remark:
LED is controlled irrespective of the corresponding mes-
sages being reconfigured.
Flashing light Firmware is being downloaded.
0.5 Hz
Flashing light Firmware download is complete. Wait for POWER ON.
2 Hz
Flashing light Component recognition via LED is activated. This func-
tion is parameterizable (see SINAMICS S120/S150 List
Manual).
Remark:
Both options depend on the LED status when compo-
nent recognition is activated.
Off Electronic power supply is missing or outside permissible
tolerance range.
Power supply ≤ 5 V.
Continuous The electronics power supply for the encoder system is
light available.
Power supply > 5 V.
Note:
Make sure that the connected encoder can be operated
with a 24 V power supply. If an encoder that is designed
for a 5 V supply is operated with a 24 V supply, this can
destroy the encoder electronics.
