6.2.1 Monthly Maintenance

Task
Air filter
Issue 06 (2020-08-19)
– Check electrical cable connections.
– Check whether the shell of the smart cooling product is damaged or
corroded. If yes, clean the shell and take anti-corrosion measures.
Check whether the gap between the impeller and the flow deflecting ring of
the EC motor is even, to prevent the impeller from colliding with the flow
deflecting ring.
After the smart cooling product stops working in cold areas or winter, close
the air exhaust and air supply valves, and drain water from the circulation
water system.
Periodically (twice a month is recommended) check the dust on the air filter.
If a differential pressure detection device is installed, clean or replace the filter
in time when the resistance reaches the specified value. The following table
lists the recommended final resistance values.

Troubleshooting
● Clean the air filter on the
outdoor air intake once every
two months. Remove the air
filter in shutdown mode, and
rinse the air filter with high
pressure water. If the air filter
surface has oil stains, soak the
air filter in the clear water for
30 minutes, then rinse it with
high pressure water, and then
dry the air filter.
● The return air filter cannot be
cleaned with water. It is
recommended that the air filter
be replaced every six months.
