DANGER
⇒ Do not work on running or unprotected machines.
⇒ Secure the machine against accidental movements and against unauthor‐
ized operation before starting disassembly.
⇒ Before dismounting the motor and power supply, secure them against
dropping or movement before detaching the mechanical connections.
The machine manufacturer has to consider the special characters
of his construction and must work out special dismantling instruc‐
tions for the rotor and stator motor components. The machine
manufacturer's dismounting instructions are the only binding
guidelines.
1. Please observe the dismounting instructions of the machine manufactur‐
er.
2. Use the machine-side control command to decelerate the drive to a con‐
trolled standstill.
3. Switch off the power and control voltage of the controller.
4. Switch off the master switch of the machine and deactivate external sys‐
tems according to the manufacturer's instructions.
5. Secure the machine against accidental movements and against unau‐
thorized operation.
6. Wait until the discharge time of the electrical systems has elapsed and
disconnect all electrical connections, if necessary. Protect all electrical
cables and contacts against contact with other electrically conducting
parts.
7. Remove dirt, shavings or other residues from the motor.
8. Before dismounting the motor and the supply lines, secure them against
dropping or moving and disconnect the mechanical connections only
thereafter.
9. Empty the coolant ducts of the motor and dismount the motor from the
machine. Store the motor properly!
10. Document all executed measures in the commissioning report or in the
machine maintenance plan.
