Warning!
Make sure the power cable (6) is not in your working area. Otherwise you could pull it
inadvertently and knock the blender over.

8.3 Switching on / selecting speed

The blender can only be switched on once the blender jug (4) is properly locked into position,
correctly seated on the motor unit (7) and the lid (2) is closed.
1.
Select the desired speed using the rotary switch (5).
Speeds 1 to 3
Speeds 3 to 5
Ice Crush/Clean

8.4 Filling the blender jug while the blender is running

Warning!
When the blender is running, only ever open the measuring cap (1) and not the entire
blender jug (4) lid (2). Otherwise rotating food could be catapulted out.
When the measuring cap (1) is open, never insert cutlery or other items into the blender
jug (4). There is a danger of injury!
Proceed as follows to add ingredients while the blender is running:
1.
Rotate the measuring cap (1) in an anti-clockwise direction and remove it.
2.
Add the desired ingredients to the blender jug (4).
3.
Close the measuring cap (1). To do so, insert it into the lid (2) and tighten in a clockwise direction.

8.5 Removing the blender jug from the motor unit

Place the rotary switch (5) in the Off position. If you are finished blending, disconnect the mains plug
from the mains socket.

For mixing, blending and pureeing liquid or semi-solid foods
For chopping and for more solid foods
For crushing ice and for short pulses at high speed. Also for cleaning the cutting
blades.
The rotary switch (5) does not remain engaged in this mode to avoid excess
strain on the motor. You should therefore only ever use this function for a very
brief period.
To crush ice, you should fill the blender jug (4) with a maximum of
180g of ice cubes. Otherwise the ice will not be perfectly crushed.
