How to Set Up a Port or Channel for Generated Signals
HP 81200 Data Generator/Analyzer Platform User Guide, Revision 2.1
– Hold Width or Hold Duty Cycle: Set a preference if the system clock
frequency is changed.
– Transition times (with HP E4842A or E4838A frontends only):
The Rise/Fall Time can be set in the range of 0.5 to 10.0 ns to achieve
the specified 0.7 to 6.0 ns. The rise and fall times are coupled and
yield a signal as shown below:

Signal Formats
The default format for a data port and the channels connected to a data
port is NRZ. The default format for a pulse port or an unconnected
generator frontend is RZ.
