How to Start the Sequence Editor
To start the Sequence Editor:
1 Click the Sequence Editor icon in the tool bar.
Alternatively, you can also start the Sequence Editor from the Go menu.
Contents of the Sequence Editor Window
For a new device, the Sequence Editor shows one single block:
Manual event buttons
Block area
Segment areas
Loop area

Default Sequence for a New Device With Two Data Ports and BER Test
The block has a default length of 80 bits and includes default segments for
all data input and data output ports that have been configured with the
Connection Editor.
If the DUT setup includes more ports than can be shown, then a horizontal
scroll bar is displayed to move to the hidden ports.
N O TE
The default segments as well as the available pseudo segments depend on
the type of port (DUT input or output) and on the kind of measurement.
In the figure above, a Bit Error Rate measurement (BER) has been chosen.
This setting activates also the Bit Error Rate Display icon in the toolbar.
