Ejecting the Data Cartridge

Make sure that Ready LED is not blinking.
2. Press the Eject button. The drive starts rewinding the tape

IMPORTANT:
If the cartridge eject command is issued by the backup software, the

Tape Blade rewinds the tape, but does not eject a cartridge. In this
case, make sure that the LTO is ready to eject a cartridge (the status
LED blinks twice and repeats that cycle). Then, press the Eject
button to eject a cartridge.
This product has the maintenance function, and enters the

maintenance mode when the Eject button is pressed consecutively
three times within two seconds. LED lights to the amber when
entering the maintenance mode.
The customer cannot use the maintenance mode, and do not enter
the maintenance mode. When exiting the maintenance mode, push
the Eject button for three seconds or more to return to the ordinary
mode.
