Description
TTRC
Functional Description
In
a
wireline
PTT
function, audio
to be
transmitted is summed
with
the
LLGT
signal. The
LLGT
is notched out at the station
to
prevent it from being
transmitted. Average audio is
typically
6
dB below the
HLGT
and max peak audio
is
typically
no greater than
6
dB above
the
HLGT.
The station remains keyed
when
the
LLGT
is present.
Once
the
LLGT
is no
longer detected,
the station
dekeys.
Other FTs
are
available
to
perform various functions. These FTs
are
programmed
via RSS.
Table
1-5
provides
a
list of
TRC
tones and their defaults.
The
RSS
can
program any
FT
to
any command. Refer
to the
RSS
manual for additional
information.
