This chapter contains preventive maintenance instructions.

performing any maintenance on the equipment. Ignoring the safety instructions can
cause injury or death.

Maintenance intervals

If installed in an appropriate environment, the regen supply module requires very
little maintenance. This table lists the routine maintenance intervals recommended
by ABB.

Maintenance
Every year of storage
Depends on the dustiness of the environment
(every 6 to 12 months)
Every 6 years if the ambient temperature does
not exceed 40 °C (104 °F).
Every 3 years if the ambient temperature is
higher than 40 °C (104 °F).
Every 12 years if the ambient temperature does
not exceed 40 °C (104 °F).
Every 6 years if the ambient temperature is
higher than 40 °C (104 °F) and cyclic heavy
load or continuous nominal load.
Every 6 years if the ambient temperature does
not exceed 40 °C (104 °F).
Every 3 years if the ambient temperature is
higher than 40 °C (104 °F).
