This cannot directly connect to a network line. If the
optional N8117-01A Additional RS232C Connector Kit is
connected, the connector of N8117-01A is assigned as
the serial port 2.

LAN Connectors
7-1 LAN1 Connector
7-2 LAN2 Connector
Connectors for connecting to a network (1000BASE-
T/100BASE-TX /10BASE-T).
If Shared BMC LAN feature is enabled in "ROM Utility"
change to in "BIOS Setup Menu", LAN1 connector can also
be used as the management LAN connector. Sharing port
is not recommended from the point of performance and
security.
Note: Shared BMC LAN only support to LAN1 connector,

Management LAN Connector
A LAN connector (1000BASE-T/100BASE-TX /10BASE-T)
for connecting BMC Management Console. This connector
cannot be used as a normal LAN port. This port cannot be
used when Shared BMC LAN feature is used.

LINK/ACT LED (green)
LEDs for showing the access status of LAN

SPEED LED (green/amber)
LEDs for showing the transfer speed of LAN ports
