Procedure for Update Using Updater

■ a. Software Distribution(CDS) Remote Update Procedure (Remote Monitoring
Server-linked Download and Update)
You can schedule firmware distribution to this machine on Remote Monitoring Server to allow the automatic download and update
of firmware.
For the operation procedure, refer to "Software Distribution(CDS) remote update method" in the Software Distribution(CDS)
Operation Manual (Firmware Distribution).
The machine checks the distribution setting on Remote Monitoring Server every 12 hours. This allows the firmware distribution
settings to be registered to the machine and the automatic download and update of firmware to be executed.
NOTE:
If the e-mail notification setting is enabled on Remote Monitoring Server, an e-mail is sent to notify the completion of firmware
update.
■ b. Software Distribution(CDS) Remote Download Procedure (Remote
Monitoring Server-linked Download)
In this procedure, you can link with Remote Monitoring Server and automatically download firmware by scheduling its delivery.
Note that the firmware update is performed manually.
For the operation procedure, refer to "Software Distribution(CDS) remote download method" in the Software Distribution(CDS)
Operation Manual (Firmware Distribution).
CAUTION:
The firmware downloaded by scheduled delivery on Remote Monitoring Server can be viewed/deleted but not be updated
from [Settings/Registration].
If the user newly downloads firmware through [Settings/Registration], the firmware downloaded by Remote Monitoring
Server scheduled delivery gets overwritten.
Remember to be cautious.

1. Press [Updater] > [Update Firmware] in the service mode menu.
2. Press [Apply Firmware] button.
