NOTE: In shared systems, Supervisor Calling should be carefully implemented so that all user
groups with the same ID number are not called inadvertently. In both shared and private radio
systems, Fleet/ID number organization and programming parameters such as Inter-Fleet Call,
Manual Dial, and Unit ID Encode Block can be used to control Selective Calling capabilities of
each FleetSync radio.

SELECTIVE Alert / Broadcast Call

Definition:
FleetSync protocol will allow a user to select and alert all units in all fleets.
Usage:
Allows a dispatcher to alert all fleets at once.
Application
A utility company dispatcher wants to selectively call all units in all fleets. With SelCall,
the dispatcher sele cts the alpha tag associated with all Fleet/ID numbers
(Fleet:000/ID:0000), as shown in Figure 5.
