Read these instructions completely prior to beginning the replacement.
Follow all procedures for removing and installing the NVRAM.
Follow all general safety guidelines when replacing the NVRAM.
Note the special safety guidelines indicated in these instructions.
•
Remove the frame buffer board and place it on the grounded tabletop pad.
•
Locate the NVRAM and remove the NVRAM from the board (refer to Fig. 5).
