Item to be Checked
Check the CPU_USB_HSTPWREN and
HSSW_PWRFL signals from the
USB POWER SW IC (IC607).
Check the DC/DC converter for
V+5_USB (IC606) or
check the peripheral circuit.
Check the USB_CLK (= 48.000 MHz)
signal.
If the symptom persists after the above
corrections.
Item to be Checked
Check the USB communication line.
Check the VBUS_DET_DIRECT signal.
Check the connections of the
communication line (USB_D+, USB_D-).
Check the USB_CLK (= 48.000 MHz)
signal.
If the symptom persists after the above
corrections.
Item to be Checked
Check the connection of the SD serial
communication line.
If the symptom persists after the above
corrections.
Item to be Checked
Check the connection of the periphery
circuit of LAN-HUB & PHY (IC604).

Corrective Action
If the CPU_USB_HSTPWREN signal does not
become H, check the connection. If the
connection is OK, then the MAIN CPU (IC10) is
defective. Replace the MAIN CPU (IC10). If the
HSSW_PWRFL signal does not become H, the
USB POWER SW IC (IC607) is in a state of
shutdown caused by abnormally high
temperature. Check the connection. If the
connection is OK, then the port may be
damaged. Replace it.
Analyze DC/DC converter for V+5USB (IC606)
and peripheral circuit. Identify a defectiveness
element and replace it.
The X1 may be loosely connected with its
peripheral devices or a part may be defective.
Correct loose connection. If the symptom
persists, replace the defective part.
The MAIN CPU (IC10) is defective.
Replace the MAIN CPU (IC10).
Corrective Action
The communication line may be loosely
connected. Correct it if it is.
If connection is proper, go to 2.
If the VBUS_DET_DIRECT signal cannot be
found, something is wrong in the line from the
USB-B connector (JA5102) to IC603.
Identify the defective site and correct it. If the
VBUS_DET_DIRECT signal is found, go to 3.
The communication line may be loosely
connected. Correct it if it is.
If connection is proper, go to 4.
The X1 may be loosely connected with its
peripheral devices or a part may be defective.
Correct loose connection. If the symptom
persists, replace the defective part.
The MAIN CPU (IC10) is defective.
Replace the MAIN CPU (IC10).
Corrective Action
The communication line may be loosely
connected. Correct it if it is.
The MAIN CPU (IC10) is defective.
Replace the MAIN CPU (IC10).
Corrective Action
The communication line may be loosely
connected. Correct it if it is.
The LAN-HUB & PHY (IC604) may be defective.
Replace it.
If the symptom persists, the MAIN CPU (IC10)
may be defective.
Replace the MAIN CPU (IC10).
