Item to be Checked
—————
Check the power voltages of V+3R3_SH2,
V+1R2_SH2 lines.
Check the SH2_RES (IC4604 pin 88)
signal.
Check the CKIO (IC4604-pin 61 = about
66MHz) signal.
Check the connections of communication
line between the GUI CPU (IC4604) and
FLASH (IC4602).
Check the connections of communication
line between the GUI CPU (IC4604) and
SDRAM (IC4601, IC4603).
If the symptom persists after the above
corrections.
(IC14) does not work properly.
Item to be Checked
Check the connections of communication
line between the MAIN CPU (IC10) and
AUTHENTICATION CHIP (IC14).
If the symptom persists after the above
corrections.
Item to be Checked
—————
Check the power voltages of V+3R3_CPU,
V+1R8_CPU and V+1R2_CPU lines.
Check the CPU_RST signal.
Check the SYS_CLK (= 33.333333 MHz)
signal.
Check the connections of communication
line between the MAIN CPU (IC10) and
FLASH (IC12).

Corrective Action
If it is judged as NG, the GUI CPU (IC4604),
FLASH (IC4602) or SDRAM (IC4601, IC4603)
does not work properly or communication
between the MAIN CPU (IC10) and GUI CPU
(IC4604) is not established.
Proceed as follows:
The power supply line may be loosely connected.
Correct it if it is.
If the SH2_RES is "L" although the V+3R3_SH2
is normal, the Q4601 is defective or the relevant
connection is poor. Correct connection or replace
the defective part with a new one.
If the CKIO dosn't work although the V+3R3_SH2
and V+1R2_SH2 are normal, the GUI CPU
(IC4604) or X4602 is defective or the relevant
connection is poor. Correct connection or
replace the defective part with a new one.
Check the connections between GUI CPU
(IC4604) and FLASH (IC4602).
The signal line may be loosely connected.
Correct it if it is.
Check the connections between GUI CPU
(IC4604) and SDRAM (IC4601, IC4603).
The signal line may be loosely connected.
Correct it if it is.
Replace the GUI CPU (IC4604).
Corrective Action
Check the connections between MAIN CPU
(IC10) and AUTHENTICATION CHIP (IC14).
The signal line may be loosely connected.
Correct it if it is.
Replace the MAIN Assy.
Corrective Action
If it is judged as NG, the MAIN CPU (IC10) or
DDR2 (IC1, IC2) does not work properly or
communication between the MAIN CPU (IC10)
and GUI CPU (IC4604) is not established.
Proceed as follows:
The MAIN CPU (IC10) requires three power
supply systems.
Check the connections of the power supply lines.
If soldering is improper, resolder it.
If the CPU_RST is "L" although the V+3R3_CPU
is normal, the RESET IC (IC11) is defective or
the relevant connection is poor. Correct
connection or replace the defective part with
a new one.
The X2 or Logic IC (IC9) may be loosely
connected with its peripheral devices or a part
may be defective. Correct loose connection. If the
symptom persists, replace the defective part.
Check the connections between MAIN CPU
(IC10) and FLASH (IC12).
The signal line may be loosely connected.
Correct it if it is.
