6. SERVICE MODE

6.1 SERVICE MODE
OUTLINE OF THE SERVICE MODE
A
The following service modes are prepared for this unit.
[1] Check mode of the buttons and displays
The mode to check buttons, knobs, sliders and Jog dial and display function.
[2] Check mode of the load of Jog dial
The mode to measure the load when rotating the Jog dial.
[3] Various displayed information
The mode to display information such as version number, error history and abnormality of devices.

Error codes and the contents are shown.
[5] Drive self-diagnosis
The mode for self-diagnosis of a drive unit.
[6] Contents of drive self-diagnosis
Contents of self-diagnosis of the drive unit.
[7] Check mode of servo of the drive unit
The mode to check operation of mechanism and servo of the drive unit.

DETAILS OF THE SERVICE MODE
[1] Check mode of the buttons and displays
When you turn on the power while pressing the both "TEMPO" and "MEMORY" buttons simultaneously, " SERVICE MODE"
will be displayed on the LCD to enter service mode. (Please hold all the buttons until "Pioneer LOGO" screen disappears.)
In this mode, you can check whether the buttons, knobs and Jog dial on the unit work normally or not.
Please note that the button name is lit only while the button is pressed.
Caution: When you turn the TOUCH/BRAKE knob to the far right in this mode, "Check mode of the load of Jog dial" will start.

BUTTON
: The name of the pressed button is displayed.
JOG
: A block is lit depending on the Jog rotation.
ENCODER
: A block is lit depending on the rotation of the ENCODER Knob.
NEEDLE
: Not used in service mode.
SLIDER VOLUME
: When the TEMPO slider knob is moved to the - side, the
number of blocks will be increased.
JOG TOUCH VOLUME
: When the TOUCH/BRAKE knob is turned to the right,
the number of the blocks will be increased.
JOG RELEASE VOLUME : When the RELEASE/START knob is turned to the right,
the number of the blocks will be increased
