Cleaning the Automatic Maintenance System (AMS)
4. While the suction is active, gently draw a swab soaked in Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) across the top of
the suction heads to remove any ink deposits or other debris . Rotate the swab and replace it with
a clean one when the ink builds up. You may need 4 to 6 swabs to clean all 6 heads.
NOTE
Do not continue cleaning if the vacuum shuts off (after 30 seconds). Press the button
again to start the vacuum and use a new swab to finish the cleaning.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 if further cleaning is required.
6. Replace the AMS cover.
