ABOUT SETTING ROUTES (2)
ABOUT ROUTE SEARCHES
¡Route searches take a bit of time to effectuate when the distance between the departure
point and the destination is great or when selecting a multiple route search.
¡If the distance between the departure point and the destination is excessively great
rendering a route search is impossible, the unit will display the message "Route can not
be calculated. Please shorten the distance" and the search will be stopped. In such a
case, modify the settings (departure point/waypoints/destination) and shorten the
distance between the departure and the destination.
Example:
going from point A to point C
One method would be to:

point C and go to C.
¡Route searches are effectuated based on the search data stored on the map disc,
however, the stored data may not have all the road (place) information on the map. In
case of having registered departure(
not available in the stored search data, the unit will conduct a search for the shortest route
using points available in the search data bank that are near the registered points in a
straight line and use them as the actual departure(
point. Because of this function, your route is not limited to using the roads registered by

geographical points adjacent to highways and local roads, a confirmation message will appear

¡Because the search data stored in the map disc varies, the reference routes provided will
differ depending on the disc used even if the departure/waypoint/destination points and
search conditions are the same.

ABOUT SAVING ROUTES

¡The set route is stored temporarily as a
