¡Pull the wire through the vehicle interior and take it out through the trunk.
¡Pass the antenna cord through the waterproof packing and adhere it in an area where it
is in contact with the vehicle's waterproof rubber.

t WARNING
For automobiles equipped with airbags (SRS Dual Airbag, SRS Side Airbag, SRS
Curtain Airbag, etc., names vary depending on the maker), do not under any
circumstance install the antenna in a way that obstructs the airbag cover or would
hinder its proper operation. Do not reconfigure the wiring. In the event the airbag is to
be deployed, it may not function correctly. (*Decide on the antenna's mounting position
after thoughtful consideration for safety and consultation with the place of purchase.)
CAUTION
■ Separate the GPS exterior antenna and cord from the radio antenna and cord (not doing
so will cause radio interference).
■ When adhering the waterproof packing, cord clip or the GPS antenna, make sure to wipe
the adhesion surface clean (any dirt left on the surface will reduce the adhesion
strength).
■ Be careful so as to not let the antenna cord get caught in the chassis.
■ To ensure stable wave reception, it is recommended to mount the antenna on the
vehicle's exterior chassis.
■ Do not install the antenna inside the vehicle without its mounting plate. This will lead to
extreme deterioration of reception sensitivity. The mounting plate is unnecessary if
installing onto the exterior of the chassis.
■ If using the GPS exterior antenna inside the vehicle, separate it from the unit by at least
10 inches to prevent interference.
■ If installing the antenna in the front of the dashboard, some vehicle models have thermal
insulation glass or heat insulating film applied onto the glass. These insulators possess
an electromagnetic wave reflection property that may significantly reduce reception
sensitivity. Also, reception sensitivity may drop if your vehicle windshield has been lined
with a mirror type film.
