7.9.3.1 Combo Board Installation

1. Remove the rear panel (See Section 5.1.2).
2. Disconnect the power cable from the back of the controller.
3. Remove the front panel (See Section 5.1.1). The yellow LED should be off (See Section 1.2).
4. Unseat the motherboard (See Section 5.2).
5. Remove the backplane assembly (See Section 7.8).
6. Remove top filler plate by removing the black pin and retainer clip at the center of the filler
plate and 2 mounting screws, retain screws and pin (See Section 7.10.2).
7. Invert combo card (ports facing away from the backplane). Connect the three port cables to
the following ports on the backplane: J13, J11, and J10. Connect the narrow ribbon cable to
port J12 on the backplane and to the Combo board.
