3-3. Warning Messages

The unit will be continued operating normally when these
warning messages are displayed. The record of the warning
messages are saved in the "error logger". Be therefore
ensure to check the error logger, and correct the error
accordingly.
(For details of the error logger, refer to "4-2-2. Error
Logger".)

On the HOME, TC, PF1 or PF2 menu, whether or not to display the warning messages will be selected.
At shipping from factory, selection of warning messages are selected to ON.

No reference signal is input to the selected REF input connector.
The unit is now operated on the internal reference signal.
Capstan servo is stepped out of locking during playback, recording or
editing operation.
No EXT-SD signal input under the setup menu A05 is set to "Lock1" or
"Lock2" (Only when the HKDV-507D is installed.)
Asynchronous the reference signal between HD and EXT-SD under the
setup menu A05 is set to "Lock1" or "Lock2". (Only when the HKDV-507D is
installed.)
No serial digital input signal is detected.
No audio data in the serial digital input signal is detected.
Correct reading of VITC signal on the tape is impossible.
PLL of the audio clock generator does not lock to the video reference signal.
PB head is not read the digital data on the tape.
