By installing the HD-SD converter board HKDV-501A in the unit, 25 PsF/29.97 PsF/50i/59.94i and
23.98 PsF (When the HKDV-507/507D is installed) HD video signals can be converted to 525/59.94 Hz
or 625/50 Hz, and output as analog composite signals and D1 serial V/A signals or D2 (525/59.94 Hz
only) serial V/A signals.
(For details of switching the D1/D2 serial V/A signals, refer to "1-8. Switchable Functions.")

When the HDW-F500 is operating on 24 PsF/30 PsF/60i, the output signals of the HKDV-501A will be
muted.

Turn OFF the power switch before beginning.
Check that the HD SDI output images of this unit are normal first.
If abnormal, the unit requires repairs or adjustments.
1. Remove the upper lid.
2. Loosen one screw completely, and remove the board retainer (S).
3. Cut the harness clampers (white) fixing the coaxial harnesses.
4. Install the DCP-26 board in the unit with side A facing the front.
. When the PD-94/107 board is not installed
Install the DCP-26 board to the second slot from the rear side.
. When the PD-94/107 board is installed
Install the DCP-26 board to the fifth slot from the rear side.

After inserting the DCP-26 board, press the two eject levers simultaneously from the top to connect
the board to the connector of the mother board firmly.
5. Connect the coaxial harnesses. (Black: J7, Red: J6, Orange: J3)
6. Insert the protruding portion of the board retainer (S) in the square hole of the chassis, and then
secure the board by tightening the screw.
7. Perform "Settings and Checks after Installation".
8. Install the upper lid.
