Serial Select Switch
Serial Select switch is used to select the CPU blade that can use the serial interface device. Pressing
this switch changes the connection between the serial I/O port of CPU blade and the serial interface
device connected to the serial port at the front of the blade assembly unit.
To disconnect the connection with the serial interface device, first turn off the power of the CPU
blade and that of the destination device and pull out the power cord from the destination device.
Failure to follow this advice may cause the devices to be defected due to the potential difference
between them.
