Powering On/Off
There are three ways to turn on the power of the blade assembly unit.
To turn off the power, shutdown from the OS, and press the POWER switch located on the blade
assembly unit or on the CPU blade. The POWER lamp goes off.
IMPORTANT:
assembly unit by either the use of the POWER switch or the remote
power-on after waiting for a minimum of 15 seconds from the moment
when AC power is supplied to every power unit. If you do not wait at
least 15 seconds, the blade assembly unit may not power on. In this
case, turn on the power of the blade assembly unit by using the
POWER switch after making sure that the AC power is supplied to
every power unit.
Powering ON from the Blade Assembly Unit
Press one of the POWER switches on the front panel of the Blade Assembly Unit. If the power is
turned on, it is supplied to the CPU blade and hard disk drives installed into the slot from which the
POWER switch was pressed (the POWER lamp goes on green).
NOTE:
on the CPU blade.
Perform the power-on procedure of the blade
The POWER switch described here has the same effect as that
POWER lamp
