IMPORTANT:
Do not connect any cable other than the ICMB cable (including
LAN and serial cables) to the ICMB connector. Connecting a cable
other than the ICMB cable to the ICMB connector may cause a fault
to occur.
The chassis ID of 0 to F is written on the chassis ID switch (rotary
switch), code 1-16 is defined in the notation of NEC ESMPRO.
Setting the chassis ID switch to 0 makes value 1 set in the notation
of NEC ESMPRO and setting the chassis ID switch to A makes
value 1 set in the notation of NEC ESMPRO.
Power off all the CPU blades and remove all the cables from the
blade assembly unit before setting the chassis ID switch.

USB Connector

To connect with the USB device, connect the USB cable to the USB connector at the front of the
blade assembly unit. You can select the USB device or the CPU blade slot by pressing the Media
Select switch on the blade assembly unit.

Serial Connector

To connect with the device having the serial port, connect the serial cable to the serial connector at
the front of the blade assembly unit. You can select the serial device, the CPU blade slots, or the
intelligent switch (L2) by pressing the Serial Select switch on the blade assembly unit.
