Installation of the blade assembly unit
Three or more persons should hold the blade assembly unit so that the rear face of the
blade assembly unit faces the rack. Put the L-shaped frames at the left and right sides of
the blade assembly unit on the L-shaped frames of the rail brackets slowly and gently.
IMPORTANT:
Do not hold it by the front and rear fan units.
Push the blade assembly unit into the rack to the end. Fix the front of the blade assembly
unit with the attached large screws (left and right sides). See the figure below.
Now the blade assembly unit is completely installed on the rack. The figure on the next
page illustrates the installation of the blade assembly unit on the rack.
After all setup jobs including installation of CPU blades are completed, install the
attached front bezel on the front of the blade assembly unit and lock the front bezel.
Hold the bottom of the blade assembly unit to carry it.
