4.10.1 The machine cannot be powered on or nothing appears on the LCD

User Check
- Check the insertion direction of the memory card.
- Check whether the file data or memory card is supported.
- Use any other memory card to check if the memory card functions.
- Check whether a memory card not supported is inserted to the USB flash memory drive.
- Turn the power off and on.
- Format the memory card.
- Load the latest firmware.

Cause
Replace the AC cord. (Europe/Asia/Oceania only)
Check the connection and reconnect the harness.
Check the connection and reconnect the flat cable.
Replace the LCD unit.
Replace the panel PCB ASSY.
Replace the power supply PCB ASSY.
Replace the main PCB ASSY.
Cause
Check the connection and reconnect the flat cable.
Set the LR ASSY into place, using the LR jigs (LR
positioning jig and LR fitting jig).
Replace the CR encoder strip.
Replace the main PCB ASSY.
Replace the document scanner cover.
