ADF back cover and ADF cover ASSY
(10) Turn the ADF & document cover ASSY upside down.
(11) At the rear end of the ADF & document cover ASSY, release the latches provided on the
ADF back cover, starting from the right end, with a flat screwdriver and then remove the
ADF back cover.
(12) Remove the ADF cover ASSY.

Ejection films
(13) Turn the ADF & document cover ASSY right side up.
(14) Remove the four ejection films.
Note: Once removed, the ejection films will become unusable and new ones will have to be
put back in.
