Term/Acronym
Title
A computer communicating on a network, for example,
the Internet, Plant, Control or I/O network. Each node
typically has a unique node address with a format
depending on the network it is connected to.
Client is a part of the software that subscribes data from
the server.
A node that runs one or several Afw services. It is a part
of the software that supplies data to a subscriber.
A client/server network is used for communication
between servers and between workplaces and servers.
