11.6 PBX Configuration—[3-6] Group—Extension
Hunting Group
If an extension within an idle extension hunting group is called when it is busy or in DND mode, the call can
be redirected to another extension in the same hunting group, according to a pre-programmed hunting type.
If there is no idle extension in the group, the call can then be redirected to the overflow destination, which can
be different depending on the time mode (day/lunch/break/night). A maximum of 128 hunting groups can be
programmed, each containing up to 16 extensions.
To assign members to the group, click Member List. To assign extensions as overflow destinations easily,
click Destination Setting (see 2.1.7 Extension Number Setting).
Hunting Group Name
Specifies the name of the hunting group.
Value Range
Max. 20 characters
