10.2 Twisted pair cable

QX-S6600 Series uses twisted pair cable and the maximum length for a cable segment is
100 meters (328 feet).
 NOTE:
You must use Category5 cable or better (including Cat5e , Cat6 and Cat6A).

Twisted pair cable is used for the connecting to 10/100/1000Base-T autosensing Ethernet port, 1/10G

Base-T autosensing Ethernet port, Management Ethernet port and 1000BASE-T-SFP.
I. RJ45 connector
Twisted pair cable uses RJ45 connector shown in Figure 10-6.
II. Numbering of the pins
Twisted pair cable is defined in TIA/EIA-568-A or TIA/EIA-568-B.
