Password recovery

 NOTE :
When password recovery capability lost a CLI login password or a super password in an effective case , it's
possible to be restored from the Boot menu .For more information about a software upgrade for access method
on the Boot menu ,see Chapter 6 Upgrading software .

7.1.1 CLI login password loss

When losing a CLI login password, following procedure, the device can be started without
reading the current configuration file.
1) Enter 7 at the prompt.
EXTENDED BOOT MENU
1. Download image to flash
2. Select image to boot
3. Display all files in flash
4. Delete file from flash
5. Restore to factory default configuration
6. Enter BootRom upgrade menu
7. Skip current system configuration
8. Set switch startup mode
0. Reboot
Ctrl+Z: Access EXTENDED ASSISTANT MENU
Ctrl+F: Format file system
Ctrl+P: Change authentication for console login
Ctrl+R: Download image to SDRAM and run
