INSTALLATION
STEP 2: Connect the RS RVS-15 CA-A/RS RVS-4 CA-C or RS NORM-4 CA-A as shown below.
(a) When connecting a VMS directly:
Connect the VMS to the PN-AP00 using an RS RVS-15 CA-A/RS RVS-4 CA-C cable as shown in
Figure
3-9.

(b) When connecting a VMS using MODEMs, Connect the VMS through the MODEMs as shown in
Figure
3-10. In this case, the RS NORM-4 CA-A cable should be used for DCE-DCE connection.
When the cable length between the VMS and PBX is more than 15 meters (49 ft.), the MODEMs are
required.
