User Check
- Check whether the recording paper being used is within the
specification.
- Clean the related rollers by printing blank paper.
- Clean the platen.
Cause
Remove foreign materials.
Clean the recording paper path.
Clean the CR encoder strip.
Set the Carriage flat cable into place.
Set the ink supply tubes guide into place.
Replace the CR encoder strip.
User Check
- Carry out head cleaning.
Cause
Remove foreign materials.
Clean the CR encoder strip.
Perform the recommended purge procedures.
Refer to "Recommended purge procedures" in
Chapter 5, Section 1.3.29 "Purge Operation
(Maintenance mode 76)."
Replace CR encoder strip
Replace the carriage motor ASSY.
Replace the head/carriage unit.
