APPENDIX 2. DELETION OF USER SETTING INFORMATION
This appendix provides instructions on how to delete user setting information recorded in the machine.

A2.1 Deleting User Setting Info from the machine

The following user setting information in the machine is recorded in the EEPROM on the main
PCB. It can be deleted with the operation below.
• User's name and telephone number
• Speed dialing
• Group dialing
• Dial record (stored for redialing)
• Receiver info for fax transfer (The transfer setting will also be canceled.)
• Data stored in the memory (Received data and voice messages will also be deleted.)
• Fax preview
• Fax data not yet transferred in PC-Fax receiving (Fax data already transferred to the PC will
not be deleted.)
• Fax data waiting to be sent in polling
• Receiver info for timer faxing
• Receiver info for broadcasting or batch transmission
• Caller ID history
• Activity report
• Password assigned by the secure function lock (for models with secure function lock)
• Favorite copy settings (for models with touch panel)
• Network settings (e-mail addresses, server settings, account settings, etc)
Operating Procedure
(1) Press
(2) Press All Settings.
(3) Swipe up or down, or press
(4) Press Initial Setup.
(5) Swipe up or down, or press
(6) Press Reset.
(7) Press the reset All Settings.
(8) Press Yes.
(9) Press Yes for 2 seconds or more.
