Calling an acceptance test

You can test the correct mode of operation of all Safety Integrated functions using the "Safety
Acceptance" window. The results are displayed in a tabular form. Once you have successfully
tested all of the relevant functions, you can summarize the corresponding results in the form
of a report and save as RTF file.
The report of the acceptance test, supported by SINUMERIK Operate, should only be seen
as a part of the safety acceptance report for the complete machine. The report serves as basis
to be added to the results of the tests of other safety-relevant parts of the machine.
After the acceptance test has been completed, the safety acceptance report comprises 2 parts:
● Results from the Safety Integrated functions, which can be tested using SINUMERIK
Operate.
● Results from the tests of other hazardous/dangerous situations of the machine, which are
not controlled by SINAMICS.
Examples: Movement of tool changing mechanisms with the protective doors open, tool
magazines, revolvers, dressing spindles for grinding machines and/or pneumatically or
hydraulically controlled motion.
